A few days ago I commented on an Italian blog about a debate I have translated recently for EuroNews.

Italian Franco Bassanini and French Franck Biancheri, two 'leading political advisers', quoting from the English version, spoke about the Eu's 'Annus Horribilis' - that is, 2005 - and its future.

I found the discussion much more interesting than what politicians usually say about Europe, so I think it's worth to have a look at it.

Actually, I haven't read the English version, and I'm not sure it is good (the journalist who wrote it is a new one, and the producer, my friend Diego, looked quite frustrated when he read her script. I suppose he made her change it, but I'm not sure about the result), so I would advise you, if you are interested and can read other languages, to do so.
